Wine This Barolo is produced at a winery in the tiny village of Priocca in the heart of Piedmont, by French winemaker Gaetane Carron. Hand-harvested and fermented in wood and steel vats, the wine spends 24 months in new and old French oak, plus a year in bottle before release. Full bodied and rich, with the Barolo hallmarks of plum and raisin-like fruit, scented with subtle notes of roses and violets. The tannins are bold yet velvety and elegant.
